No, not typically. The sediment rests on the bottom of the tank and that is what is cleaned out. Typically we use around 8-12cm of water to achieve removing all the sediment.
Not usually, but sometimes the tank needs to be emptied and pressure cleaned. We usually only do this when the tank has not been cleaned for many years and the walls and floor have become so dirty that it is affecting the quality of your water, also when things such as having a dead animal in the tank, chemical contamination, and a few other situations. Feel free to call to discuss your situation and we’ll come up with the best solution for you.
A water delivery stirs up the sediment. Typically it will settle after 2 or 3 days. It does give you an indication that having your tank cleaned is a good idea.
All Australian Health Departments recommend tanks be cleaned every 2-3 years. We have clients who like to get their tanks cleaned every year to ensure optimal water quality, we offer a substantial discount for yearly tank cleans.
We prefer if we can get a ute within 5 metres of the tank. We can work with having it a little further away, however if we cannot get our ute and trailer closer than 10 metres please call us to discuss.
We do. Naturally we need to come and look at your tank to give you a quote and as long as you are happy to wait for us to be in your area there is no charge to come and look at your tank. Typically we would get to you within 3 working days to quote your repair.
No. You can keep using your water while we are cleaning your tank. We do not stir up the dirt, doing so reduces the ability to get it out of your tank. We are careful, we are patient, and we are thorough.
